Jon has been excepted into the police academy! For those of you who didn't know already, he has been trying to get accepted for months now and this has been such a long wait for us. We have sorta been keeping it on the "DL" just incase he didn't make it, but now we can tell everyone! He has worked very hard for this and we have prayed and prayed that he would get accepted and he finally did. We are very proud of him and all he has accomplished so far. The academy starts Nov 10th and will last about 6 months. We will no more once he starts orientation in a couple of weeks. Thanks to everybody for your love, support, and encouragement. HE DID IT! Go babe, we are so proud of you.

AWESOME!!!! Just a heads up tho, the academy is HORRIBLE!!! They told me that no matter what happens during it, don't take it personally and ride it out (it gets pretty ugly... they are cranky, overworked, and exhausted and you get the brunt of it) It is soooo worth it in the long run! Congrats ;) He is going to do great! You guys need to come over so Eric can show him the easiest/best/fastest way to shine boots, VERY important!!!
