This past weekend Gamma Cheryl took Quinn with her to St. George to visit Grandpa Leavitt. Jon and I both worked on Saturday, but we had the chance to have a date night on Friday night and Saturday night. A double header! Woohoo! I know you are probably thinking that we sat around and watched TV and slept in, etc etc...but no! We didnt sleep in once. We actually had a very productive weekend. We got organized (mainly my craft and sewing stuff), cleaned, and finished taking down the wall paper and re-painted our master bathroom, and hung with friends both nights. It felt so good to blast the music and just get down and clean! In our room/bathroom alone we filled up a big garbage bag full of trash. Just feels good to have it out of here.. Anyway, here was Quinn's fun weekend..
Went to a family party and played with tons of cousins
Got his first wasp sting (he is ok)
Went to the peach festival
Ate his first beef kabob (the whole thing)
Picked fruits and vegies out of Grandpa's garden
Stuck his finger up grandpa's horses nose
It was a good weekend for Jon and I to just love on eachother and spend time with one another, but we sure did miss our boy. We ran outside when he got him to give him lots of kisses and hugs. Hope everybody else is having a fun and safe Labor Day weekend...let me know if you find any good sales I need to know about! :)

Wow, a kid-less weekend. Jealous! More jealous of your date nights. Love the babies (as you do your own) but to have a clean and organized (and semi-finished) house - what a treat!! Do you know how long I have been wishing I could organize the hall closet? TOOOO long. :)
Geez, you guys are brave! I am sooo nervous about leaving Aubrey for the first time! =( Nick and I are going to Denver in October and I really want to look forward to being without her, but I am scared I will be in tears the whole time! That's great that you got a lot done though. I bet that feels awesome! =)
