Do you feel lucky??

I don't know how in the world he does it, but Jon has the most amazing skills ever of winning things off of the radio. We have just been so lucky lately, and because of him and some of our friends we have gotten to do some super fun things the past couple weeks...here's what we have been up to.

SHARK REEF

We took Quinn to the Shark Reef to see the animals, and to escape the Vegas heat. It was super crowded, but lots of fun and he had a blast. He kept pointing and saying, "ooooo!" Afterwards we went to town square where Jon HAD to wait in

 line for the new iphone (which he didn't get then, but got TODAY) and we had CPK, my fav.

NBA SUMMER LEAGUE

Jon and I got to go watch the Blazers play in the summer league. It is his favorite team so it was extra special. I love going to sporting events with him because he teaches me all kinds of things I didn't know before! He also went another night with our friend Adam for a guys night out. He deserves it!

COLDPLAY

I love this group so much, we saw them two years ago for Jon's birthday and I have been wanting to see them again ever since. We got our chance!! We went with Tommy and Lexi and had a great night out. Thanks guys! (OK, i know i look sweaty...but what do you expect? its coldplay)

BATMAN

We have been highly anticipating this movie, and we weren't let down one bit. Batman was so good! A little (OK a lot) scary, and kinda dark, but really good. I was so sad watching it knowing the Heath Ledger had passed away. He did such a great job at playing the joker. So bitter sweet. Jon wants to name our next boy batman. I said I would think about it.

BOXING

The first thing I thought of when Jon won these tickets is, "yes! we can sell them!" My idea was basically shot down when I saw how excited Jon was to go. I kept dropping hints saying, "ar

e you SURE you don't want to bring a friend??" and he kept saying, "I want you to go!" I'm not going to lie, I was kind of in a foul mood about it on the way there, but once we got in and got to our seats I immediately started to have a good time. These people were rowdy! I mean, crazy! They were screaming, and yelling, and wearing Mexican and Puertorican flags, and playing drums (yes, drums), and high fiving...it was nuts. I decided based on looks alone that I would cheer on Cotto, and he fought a good fight, but ended up losing his winning streak. I love you babe! Thanks for making me a nascar, basketball, boxing fan. (that picture was taken on my cell phone...we were saying, "Cotto! Cotto! Cotto!")

TOWN SQUARE

We met Adam and Eryka at town square yesterday to have a little lunch and to let Quinn run around in the water park play ground. Also, Adam is super computer savvy so he helped me decide which MAC to get (thanks ad)! Quinn loved the water until one of the spouts shot water right in his face, he cried for a second, then went right back out. He is getting so big and is so much fun right now! (side note: he learned how to say, "no" and thats all we have heard for the past few days. at first it was cute, now its annoying.)
