Allergy Baby
So as you can tell in some of my pictures, little Quinn has suffered from really bad eczema on his cheeks and a few other little spots on his body. We took him to the doc for a well check up and he wanted to run some blood tests for allergies because NONE of the creams we have tried have cleared up his skin. Not only that, but the doc thinks he's a little "underweight," so we went and they took 7 vials of blood (it was the worst 10 minutes EVER) and we finally got the results back. My little guy has horrible allergies just like his mama. He is allergic to peanuts, dairy, soy, wheat, eggs, dogs, and they said his hormone levels are off which is why he hasn't been gaining very much weight or getting taller. I feel so bad for him, poor guys favorite things are milk, cheese, yogurt, bread, crackers,etc. Has anybody else had these problems with their kids, and if so...what do you do?? What do you feed them? My heart breaks for him, but i'm so glad we found all this out now so we can get him better!

Hey Ashley it is McCall! Quinn is so cute. I feel so bad for him, allergies SUCK! Christian and Cash both have ezcema (spell) pretty bad. I have to use like a certain laundry soap and other interesting stuff. Anyway, I have found the ezcema cream by Aveeno works wonders. I have tried all other baby creams and are way too greasy and are crap! I can only find it at CVS. I have looked at walmart and target and no luck. Anyway, give it a try. I swear by Aveeno :) Tell Jon hi!

Aw, Ashley I'm sorry you had to go through all of that! Poor Quinn! Everything will be fine. I don't really have any advice, but at least you can figure out how to make things better now.

Emma had the exact same allergies,ezcema and all. It can be very frustrating and challenging, that's for sure. We will have to chat. We were told to give a quick bath every night and lather her up with Aquaphor for the ezcema. It is a little messy but it seemed to help. I just had to keep reminding myself things could be worse, you can do it!!!! Call me, we will chat.
