2008

2008 has been such an exciting year for us so far...

Jan 7th we celebrated our 2 year wedding anniversary. We spent the weekend together and even got a night alone doing a little "vegas vacation." My mom watched Quinn for the night and we got a room at Caesars. It was sooooo nice to sleep in!

Jan 13th Jon started school full time at CSN. This has been a dream of his for such a long time so we are very excited about this new beginning in our lives. He is majoring in Nutrition and hopes to do something in the medical field. He isn't quite sure yet but he is thinking chiropractics, homeopath/naturopath, dietician, PA, etc.. (its a good thing he has 3 years to figure it out.) He is still doing hair 4 days a week while he is school

We celebrated my 24th bday on Jan 30th. We went to Geisha steakhouse with a few friends and had a great time and lots of yummy food!

Feb 12th was Jon's 26th birthday. My dad was in town and took us to dinner at Viva Mercado. For those of you who don't know they have THE BEST mexican food! The weekend before his birthday his mom took us to dinner to celebrate. (here's the fam just before heading to cheesecake factory)

Feb 14th was of course valentines day! We had a little date night at the new town square that just opened and saw the movie "Definately, Maybe" So cute!

The first week of Feb my mom also moved in with us. She sold her house in 4 days!! She will be staying with us until she finds one that she LOVES. It has been really nice having her around. She is such a huge help with Quinn, and she cooks, and cleans! what more could i ask for?

The month has already flown by! Just this last week Quinn has decided to start talking! Last tuesday he said "dada" which was neat but hello! what about me?? Then 3 days later he decided to say "mama". Now the only thing he says all day long is "mamamamamamama" It really is the cutest thing in the whole world. I really feel like a mom (or should i say a mama).
